Dalton Caldwell

Dalton Caldwell is Co-Founder and General Partner of Standard Capital and Partner Emeritus at Y Combinator. He was co-founder and CEO of imeem (acquired by MySpace in 2009) and co-founder and CEO of App.net. He holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.

Paul Buchheit

Paul Buchheit is Co-Founder and General Partner of Standard Capital and Partner Emeritus at Y Combinator. While at Google, he created Gmail, built the prototype for AdSense, and coined Google's slogan "Don't be evil." In 2007, he co-founded FriendFeed, which became Facebook's largest acquisition to date in 2009. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.

Bryan Berg

Bryan Berg is Co-Founder and General Partner of Standard Capital. He was CTO at imeem and co-founder and CEO of App.net. Previously, he was a Staff Engineer at Stripe, which he joined in 2014. At the time of his departure, he was the 10th most tenured employee, reporting to the CTO. As the early Head of Security, he built critical components of Stripe's internal security controls and tools, datacenter infrastructure, and edge infrastructure. He holds a B.S. in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
