Targeting post-PMF startups raising to scale (including some with under $1M ARR), Standard Capital requires a minimum 10% post-close equity to lead a round (open to 20% if founders want a larger lead), does not charge portfolio companies for legal fees, does not take board seats, uses AI for research and memo drafting, re-sorts small groups annually, and invests about five companies per cycle, four times a year; partners include Paul Buchheit, Dalton Caldwell, and Bryan Berg.
